Lawful basis for processing personal data
For the purposes of GDPR, we are the Data Processor when processing customer orders. We process any personal data lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner. Under Article 6 of GDPR, the lawful basis on which we process personal data received from customers is that of “Contract” or “Consent” whereby processing is necessary in order to fulfil the aforementioned customer requests. We retain information provided by the customer such as transaction information, name and telephone number to enable us to process the customer request.
We are required by law enforcement and for fraud prevention.
A customer specifically asks us to reveal their personal data, or we have an individual`s permission to do so.
Data we receive – Personally identifiable information
We receive personally identifiable information from customers only when it is voluntarily submitted by the individual when requesting a service from us. The data we may receive includes: name, telephone number, address. Under GDPR this is a valid reason to be able to fulfil customers` orders. To process your order your name and address and your chosen delivery address is information needed to complete your order. Your email address is used to notify you of the status of your order.

Credit Card Payments
Credit Card details are entered on a secured page and they are encrypted. This site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to ensure secure transmission of your personal data. You should be able to see the padlock symbol in the status bar on the top left hand corner of the browser window. The url address will also start with https://depicting a secure webpage. SLL applies encryption between two points such as your PC and the connecting server. Any data transmitted during the session will be encrypted or scrambled and then decrypted or unscrambled at the receiving end. This will ascertain that data cannot be read during transmission. Our website requires CVV2/CVC2 verification.
Opt-in Email List
You have the option to subscribe to our email list. If you do, your email address is used to keep you informed of new products and offers from Temptations Fine Jewellery from time to time.
